Terms of Use
The rules,
in plain words.
These terms are the agreement between you and SQODY when you use sqody.xyz, the launch app and anything else we run. Using SQODY means you accept them. If you don't, please don't use it.
Last updated October 25, 2026
The short version.
- SQODY is software. You launch from your own wallet and sign every transaction yourself.
- We never ask for, see or hold your private keys.
- Fees are shown before you sign and are not refunded once a transaction lands.
- Memecoins are high risk. You can lose everything you put in.
- No rugs, no manipulation, no pretending your squad is something it isn't.
- We keep only what SQODY needs to work, and never sell it.
This summary helps you read the terms. The full text below is what applies.
SQODY is a self-service interface for launching tokens on pump.fun. It builds the transactions that create your token and make the dev buy, then, in a second approval, fund the squad wallets you list. It also lets you reserve a contract address before launch, or order one with a custom ending.
SQODY is not an exchange, broker, custodian, investment adviser or bank. We don't run pump.fun, Solana or your wallet, and we don't control what happens to a token after it launches.
- You are an adult with the legal capacity to agree to these terms where you live.
- You are not on a sanctions list, and you are not acting for anyone who is.
- Using SQODY is legal where you are. We may block access from any country or region.
You connect your own Solana wallet. Every payment and every launch is a transaction your wallet shows you and you approve. SQODY will never ask for a seed phrase or private key — anyone who does is not us.
Squad wallets are public addresses you type in. We don't create them and never hold their keys. Check every address before you sign: a transfer to a wrong address cannot be reversed.
The only keys SQODY holds are the mint keys for contract addresses that have not launched yet. They are stored encrypted and deleted when the token launches or the reservation is cancelled.
You are responsible for keeping your wallet and devices secure. If you think your wallet has been compromised, stop using it and tell us.
We keep only what SQODY needs to work. We don't sell it, we don't run ads, and there are no tracking or analytics tools on the site.
What we keep:
- Wallet addresses you use with SQODY, and what they did here: launches, squads, reserved addresses, custom endings and payments. Most of this is public on Solana anyway.
- What you publish with a token: name, ticker, description, links and image.
- Your email, only if you join a waitlist. We use it for one thing: telling you when places open.
- Questions you send the team from the help chat, the page you asked from, and your X handle if you leave one. We use them to reply and to improve the chat's answers.
- Your IP address, for a few minutes and only in memory, to stop abuse. It isn't written to any database.
Cookies are only used to keep you signed in where a sign-in exists. Your launch draft, saved squads and light or dark theme stay in your own browser.
We use a small number of service providers to run SQODY: website hosting, our server and database, IPFS storage for token images and details, and a connection to the Solana network. Some of them are based outside the EU, so your data may be processed there. Where that happens, it is protected by the providers' standard data protection terms.
We keep a waitlist email until places open or you ask us to remove it, and launch records for as long as SQODY runs.
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you by sending a direct message to @sqodyx on X. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
- Launch: 0.1 SOL, covering you and four squad wallets and a contract address ending in “sqdy”.
- Bigger squads: 10 wallets for +0.05 SOL, 20 wallets for +0.15 SOL, on top of the launch fee.
- Reserving a contract address: 0.05 SOL, paid when you reserve, not at launch.
- Your own 4-character ending: 0.1 SOL.
Creator fees from pump.fun stay with you and whichever squad wallets you split them with. SQODY takes no cut of them.
Solana network fees, pump.fun's own fees and your first buy are separate from our fees. Every amount is shown before you sign.
Fees are not refunded once the transaction lands, including when you cancel a reserved address. We may change our fees, but a new price never applies to a payment you have already made, and we will show changes on the site before they take effect.
A reserved contract address is held for the wallet that paid for it until you launch with it or cancel it. You can hold several. A reservation belongs to that wallet and cannot be moved to another.
Custom CAs are generated by computer, so how long one takes varies. We estimate the time but don't guarantee it.
You are the creator of any token you launch. Its name, ticker, image, description and links are yours, and so is the responsibility for them. You confirm you have the right to use everything you upload.
Squad wallets are ordinary Solana addresses, so anyone can see on chain which wallets received tokens at launch. The labels you give them are only shown to you in the app.
Anything written to Solana is public and permanent. We can hide a token from SQODY's own pages, but we cannot remove it from the blockchain or from pump.fun.
- Rug pulls, honeypots, or launching a token designed to take holders' money.
- Token details that mislead people about who is behind a token or who holds it.
- Wash trading, pump-and-dump schemes or other market manipulation.
- Money laundering, financing crime or getting around sanctions.
- Pretending to be another person, project or brand.
- Content that is illegal, sexualises minors, promotes violence or infringes someone else's rights.
- Attacking, overloading, scraping or automating SQODY, or holding reserved addresses just to block others.
- Getting around a block or limit we have put on a wallet or region.
If we reasonably believe a wallet is doing any of this, we may refuse to serve it, hide its tokens from our pages and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
You decide whether launching or promoting a token is lawful where you are, including securities, consumer-protection and advertising rules, and you handle your own taxes. We don't give legal or tax advice.
Nothing on SQODY is investment, financial or trading advice — not our docs, our examples or any numbers we show. Make your own decisions.
- Prices on pump.fun move fast and can collapse in seconds.
- Blockchain transactions are final. Mistakes cannot be undone.
- Launches are built to land all at once, but network congestion, failed bundles or other traders can affect what happens.
- pump.fun, Solana, Jito, wallets and RPC providers can change, fail or be attacked, and we don't control them.
- Software, including ours, can have bugs.
- Laws about crypto change, and a change could affect your token or our service.
SQODY depends on services we don't run, including pump.fun, the Solana network, Jito and your wallet. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for what they do.
We work to keep SQODY running, but we don't promise it will always be available, fast or error-free. We may change, pause or stop any part of it.
The SQODY name, logo, squad characters, site design and software belong to us. You may use SQODY as offered, but you may not copy the brand or present your project as made or endorsed by SQODY.
SQODY is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises beyond what these terms say — including about fitness for a particular purpose, or a token's value or success.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or the loss or fall in value of any token or crypto asset. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid SQODY in the twelve months before it arose.
Some places don't allow these limits. Where that's the case, they apply only as far as the law permits.
If a claim is made against SQODY because of a token you launched, content you published, a breach of these terms or a law you broke, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that result, including legal fees.
You can stop using SQODY at any time. We can stop serving a wallet that breaks these terms. What is already on chain stays there either way, and the sections on fees, risks, liability, claims and disputes keep applying.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes we will post a notice on the site at least 14 days before they apply. Using SQODY after that means you accept the new terms.
If something goes wrong, write to us first — most problems are fixed faster that way. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, these terms are governed by the laws of the place where SQODY's operating company is registered, and disputes will be settled individually by binding arbitration rather than in court or as part of a class action, unless the law where you live gives you a right to go to court.
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms are the whole agreement between you and SQODY about using the service. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we haven't given up the right to.
